Ya'll say--"Ain't no way"! [Preachin, of course]

The old cedar trees in the yard have purty well lived their normal length of life. Some limbs are broken and tops on others have broken off. About the only thing they are any good for nowadays is protection from the elements for birds and other critters. The once mighty majestic maples are also in diss-array--joinin in with the cedars in like comparison. Limbs broken on them and hollowed out and rotted trunks offer little protection for animals like their neighbors. Just another old homestead you may say--but--this one is a mite different. This is the homeplace of an old man with a very famous name. This was once the home of Billy Graham! The old house with it's green siding, stood for over a hundred years until about 40 years ago when it finally fell in--after the old man died. What? Billy Graham died? Yes-he sure did! His wife outlived him by several years as I recall.

I suppose now, ya'll'r sayin that Billy can't be dead. Well-he is but I think probably ya'll mite be cornfused a mite. This Billy and THE Billy don't compare in too many ways. This Billy was a Seventh Day Adventist while THE Billy is Southern Baptist. This Billy was a little old man all stooped over because of age and hard work. THE Billy is straight and tall even in his old age. This Billy was a farmer his entire life---THE Billy was a fisher of men. This Billy lived about a quarter mile south of South Freedom Conservative Christian Church and Worrells Store--THE Billy never even heard of these old landmarks. THE Billy had a hand in leading probably millions of lost souls to Christ while this Billy could count his "leadings" to a bunch less than a hundred.

Not much of a comparison is there? Yet-with all those THE Billy led to Salvation out of all those billions --and the number this Billy led--I wonder just how the percentages would tally out.

While I'm not opposed to THE Billy at all---I'm also not opposed to this Billy either. This Billy- I was somewhat acquainted with while THE Billy I will never talk to while here on earth. Our pathes will never cross I'm sure in this life. HOWEVER--When we get to Glory I'll most assuredly get to meet BOTH of those Billys'!! I'm also positive that THE Billy won't have any "big head" and will talk to this Billy as friends and BROTHERS in Christ!!

Now, if'n ya'll would like to see this meeting between the two famous Billy Grahams---make your plans to spend eternity in Heaven with Christ and all His followers! Two Billys' and while on earth one was famous while the other was not--well-to the entire world that is. We can't say that now, can we? I've just interduced this Billy to the World via the Internet and this great website!

Folks Jesus Christ is coming back real soon for His own. Are YOU one of His own? Why not? It's easy, ya'll know. Just repent of your sins ask Him to forgive you and trust Him with your soul. Invite Him in your heart and live for Him. Your name will be written the the "Lambs Book of Life".

Oh, BTW--those Angels keepin THE Book don't miss-pell ANYBODYS name and their "writin pen" is INK---Permenant RED INK!!!! Glory to God! old hoot gibson. Matt.24:44

Good thoughts, Hoot. I came to Christ many years ago while watching a Billy Graham crusade on tv. I look forward to shaking his hand in Glory.
