I found 14 recipes on allrecipes.com (http://search.allrecipes.com/SearchResults.asp? site=allrecipes&allrecipes=allrecipes&q1=MUSHROOM+SOUP cut and paste the link, to go there. The ones that are cream varieties can be canned if done in the processor, but add the cream and or flour when you reheat. I think I'm going to make a few, they all look good.

Mushroom and Potato Chowder: In a large kettle, saute 1/2 cup chopped onion in 1/4 cup butter until tender. Add 2 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon salt & 1/2 teaspoon pepper; stir to make a smooth paste. Gradually add 3 cups of water, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute. Add 1 pound of sliced fresh mushrooms, 1 cup sliced celery, 1 cup diced potatoes and 1/2 cup chopped carrots. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add 1 cup of half & half cream and 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese; heat through (do not boil). Serves 4-6. I'd guess you could can or freeze this if you did not add the cream and cheese. You could add that later when you were going to eat it. Hope this helps!
