They are saying 6" to 12" by tomorrow night here in NE Oh. Our little town is just on the edge of the snow belt that comes down from Canada and accross Lake Erie. We can have a foot of snow and just a few miles south of us a few inches. I guess time will tell. the sun is shining right now. Billie NE Ohio

Billie, where are you in NE Ohio? I am originally from Toledo and remember those snows all too well! Here in the SW Virginia mountains we are only going to get some flurries and not expecting any accumlation but is going to get down in the low teens tonight with winds of 35-50 miles and hour. Hard to believe...I was just outside without a jacket. High today is suppose to be near 60 -- then down to lower teens tonight?? No wonder the wind is going to blow!

Karen - We are located outside the little town of Garrettsville, It is located in triangle of approx 35 miles from Cleveland, Akron. Youngstown. I am not to familar with SW VA. But the Shenendow Valley area is an "old Friend" We raced our light harness horses in the Mt. Jackson area for many years. Till the track was sold. Va. is a beautiful state as is any state that has mountains. We have relatives in NC so pass through some of Va on way there. Well it is about 11 am here and the sun is now gone and the wind has come up and snow clouds are forming. Some of our worse snows are in March. Billie

Sleigh bells ring and I'm listening,
But I'm turning and twisting.
'Cause I'm itching up here,
And I'm scratching down dare,
I'm valking in my vinter undervear.

Now, da front is all battered,
And da back is is all tattered,
But, ven I'm cold to the core,
I valk true da "trap door",
And up into my vinter undervear.

Vell, I don't care if it rains or snows or freezes.
I yam so warm I yust don't give a hoot.
I put on all da stockings I can locate,
And I vear two pair of trousers wid my suit.

But den I start to perspire
And den it sets me on fire.
'Cause I'm itching up here,
And I'm scratching down dare,
I'm valking in my vinter undervear.

Vinter snow is white and glistening,
But I'm turning and twisting.
I gotta scratch a little here,
I gotta scratch a little dare.
I'm valking in my vinter undervear.

I put my bathing suit a-vay in mott balls,
And now I've got to adapt to snow balls.
Den I can't scratch my back;
I trow myself all aback.
I'm valking in my vinter undervear.

True rain and snow and ice I do not worry.
Da vinter come, I yust don't give a hoot.
My coat and hat and earmuffs keep me cozy
And I vear two pair of trousers wid my suit.

But then to cope to other clothing,
Vell, da ting dat I am loading,
Is ven my face turn blue,
And contortions I go true,
I'm valking in my vinter undervear.

Da're from Sears-Rooobuuuck....
I'm valking in my vinter undervear!

BRRRRRRRRRR. It is freezing here. I walked down to the dock a little while ago and am kicking myself in the rump for not wearing warmer clothes this morning. Poor kids are going to freeze on the walk home. I did dress them warmer when I dropped them off at child care.

By the way cute verse, I will share it with my friends. Supposed to be in the teens in the mornin' To bad I took off yesterday and can't take off tomorrow. Oh well, I will take a blanket for the kids to wrap up in for the walk tomorrow.

Keep warm everone.

It hit here hard this afternoon. Really windy and cold this afternoon, and some snow almost like hail balls coming down.

Well It is Fri Am and we have at least 6" of snow and it is still coming down. So I guess spring has arrived HO HO. Glad for my jeep to get out of driveway. It is a long driveway and goes straight up at the end onto a state route. Temp are about 15 above. Some schools closed. Wind is a problem with some drifting in areas. To bad I have to leave for work. Two interviews to do with prospective 4-H advisors. Good day to say by the fire, Billie NE OH
