Hi, Mike!

Here is the info. Hope I got all the HTML right.

To facilitate maximum attendance at these important protests, the Chicago Coalition Against War & Racism and other groups are organizing buses both for those who can only attend the April 20th protest and for those who can attend April 20-22. Both sets of buses will depart at 5 pm, Friday, April 19 from Chicago's Grant Park (on Columbus Drive between Monroe and Jackson).

Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and are non- refundable. Meals are all on your own. For those staying April 20-22, housing is also on your own. Please make checks payable to "8th Day Center for Justice," write "DC bus" in the memo section, and mail to CCAWR, c/o 8th Day Center for Justice, 205 W. Monroe, Chicago, IL 60606-5013. For more information, please call Dorothy or Kathleen at the 8th Day Center for Justice, 312.641.5151. Tickets are also available from Illinois Peace Action (312.566.9780, ask for Angela).

P.S. I am going to DC - hope to see you there!

I'm going to DC with others that will serve as street medics. It appears that we will be driving in a small caravan.

-- Kevin (SOLITARYLEFTIST@aol.com), March 21, 2002.

I got word that the Illinois Peace Action ride (bus? vans?) will be a bit cheaper than the Coalition buses, so you might want to call Angela first before sending out that form.

People seem really psyched for A20 - I think it could really recharge our movement. Mayday's gonna do that, too. I have a feeling that things will be different this year than they were last fall.

I received an e-mail today that said there was going to be A20 actions in several other countries in solidarity with protests in DC ! It appears that A20 is going to be a MAJOR event that may start building a real national movement against the "war without end" that Bush and the oil companies want.
