Free 1,000 gallon fish tank from hatchery

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I bought a truck at auction that had a 1,000 gallon enclosed fiberglass, 3 compartment tank on it for delivering fish from the hatchery to the stream. I have no need for the tank, which I took off of the truck bed. The tank is 14' long X 6' wide X 2 1/2 feet tall. Free to the first person who comes and gets it. I have a friend who has a diesel flatbed tow truck who will deliver it for 2.00 a loaded mile + 25.00 loading. This is OK only if you are close to me in west lower Michgan or really need one as this delivery fee can add up quickly, or come get it and it is yours. Email me for details.

Stan, it is not clear. I haven't seen clear fiberglass yet. It came from Elmira, Michigan (Near Gaylord), US Fish and Wildlife service. and yes, they seed the Great Lakes from that location.
