Prayer Requests for the Week

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

Please feel free to post your prayer requests for the week here.

Some updates from me: My grandmother is out of the hospital and doing much better, I am so happy the forum is back to normal and for all of the wonderful people here, our nieces baby is home form the hospital. All truly reasons to be thsnkful!

Some requests: One of Cale's Aunts is facing quadruple by-pass surgery. Please keep her in your prayers.

A tragedy occurred this week on our area. A man shot his 8 months preganant wife, and then killed himself. They also had a 13 year old son, who attends my children's school, who found them when he got up for school, and a 4 year old son. The baby was delivered and is doing OK. Please keep these children in your prayers.

Thanks to all!!!

Please remeber my husbands grandmother-whom I now claim as my own. She fell on Wenesday and broke her leg. She's doing ok, but has not yet been released form the hospital and the family is concerned about whether she will be able to come home, or have to be in an "assistant living" facility for a while-this is causeing some disagreement in the extended family. Please pray for us all that the right decisions will be made. Thank you.

Friday night, two paramedics were killed when they responded to a house fire call, also the fire chief is in critical "unstable" condition after being shot by the guy in the house who started the fire, then turned the gun on himself. There is a four year old that was hurt, also in critical condition. The paramedics and fire chief all have children and families at home, I knew one of the guys personally. Please keep the families of all these men in your prayers, our town is in shock! Thanks.

My Grandfather was diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer. He is 73. They caught it really early and it looks really good. He is the most negative man I have ever met(so is Grandma). I know attitude is everything and he really needs your prayers for a possitive attitude and healing. Thanks

Here's an update on our missionary friend who was run over by the trash truck: he went home today! He's walking with crutches and they are praying that the femor will grow some new bone to reconnect where the pieces were disintegrated by the crushing of the truck but he is very glad to go home. Thanks for all your prayers.

That is great news Nancy. I am sure he is over-joyed to be home again.
