HOME ELEVATOR IN OHIO

MANY COMPANIES MAKE NON-PROPRIATERY RESIDENTIAL ELEVATORS..ONE SUCH COMPANY IS MATOTT....TRY THE YELLOW PAGES UNDER INSTALLERS OR RESIDENTIAL ELEVATORS....THERE ARE EVEN KITS YOU CAN BUY.....BE SURE YOU HAVE A COMPANY WITH QUALIFIED INSTALLER'S.....ELEVATORS ARE NEVER A DO IT YOURSELF PROJECT......GOOD LUCK

Well, this certailny generated some spirited responses!

Theoretical question -

If you had an idea, spent a lot of money researeching and developing it, more money manufacturing, distributing and marketing it, would you freely share all the technology behind it with all your competitors?

Probably not. Neither would those folks who actually do this.

The big thing is to get a unit that will suit the physical conditions and do the job. Whether it contains proprietary technology is a secondary issue.

prop

designing better equipment and "not sharing" is different than designing systems where the main objective is to PREVENT access.

IMHO, the "majors" do the latter. That's dishonest and deceitful to the customer.

I wouldn't consider ascention 2000, miconic hx, 211, 311, 411, 401, etc.> to be any improvement over previously installed NON-proprietary products.

I'm sure someone will disagree.
