Transparencies from prints

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

I'm finding that more and more juried shows are requiring work to be submitted in the form of tranparencies. I use wet processing. Any alternatives to copying my B&W prints on transparency film using a copy stand(e.g. digital scan-to-transparency, etc.)?

If you have a film recorder you can do it that way with a digital file... other than that, you can use TMAX and the Kodak Reversal Kit to make beautiful B/W slides. All you will get is B/W, stunning, slides so if the prints are toned, use regular chrome film (tungsten) if you are using hot lights on your copy stand. That's pretty much it.
