Can you check my website?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Hello. I've just started this group and wished to get some insight on my website over-all look and feel. Does it load quickly or slow with the stained glass design? And does that look professional or a bit too cute for a publishing site? I write/publish and sell farming books. Sure would appreciate some insight to what my website is lacking too!! www.foxmtnpublishing.com Thanks for any help. -Jeanie

How about printing one of the articles from your newsletter so people can see what they might be ordering? Also, some publishers will print a table of contents from a how - to - do - it book, so people know how much of the book will be dedicated to whatever project they have in mind. Good luck!

Hi Jeanie, I think some of the people have started checking out your web site from your first post. You might check back there for some feedback. Best wishes!

The web site loaded and worked fine.

I would agree that samples and more of a discription would help move people to purchase.

Hi, I checked it out. Loaded fast enough on my dial up isp. However, there was some overlapping of text and the print was difficult for me to read. I always set my screen for largest text but some sites don't seem to support this. I have the latest Internet Explorer. Most of the time I won't bother with a site if I have trouble reading it. I am near sighted and need bifocals but it is hard to use them with the computer without throwing my neck out of wack. It is good that you are asking for feed back. Good luck on your endeavor.

Hello Jeanie,

I checked out your website. It looks fine. Your bookstore only showed two books and I question that your site is the only site that small farm owners would ever need. You are in very tough competition with all the other sites that small farm owners, (with computers) need. Best of luck!

Sincerely,

Ernest
