Ihavejustbought a sou. ry proto 2000 e-6 model a & b unit. the name southern is very small along the lower greenpainted part of the a unit and their is no southern lettering on the b unit.Is this correct. This is the simpflied second paint scheme. Thanks a lot ,enjoy your site.

I believe this is the correct scheme for the E-6 units after they were re-painted in 1949 and until passsenger units were changed to black and imitation aluminum.

Tom is correct. These models were painted based on copies of original painting diagrams dug out of the SRHA archives.
