Something BIG coming soon? : LUSENET : Unk's Troll-free Private Saloon : One Thread

The vibes are very synchronistic lately... something major is likely to happen soon. It could be another terrorist attack or a big earthquake or maybe both, since the former could trigger the latter. The week of March 10 - 17 feels likely, with very strong possibilities on the 11th. This is the week of the strongest gravitational pull we will experience this year, with the New Moon in a very close orbit, and Monday the 11th will be 6 months after 911.

Fat Molson,

Here is the response in advance to any of the comments you will undoubtedly feel obligated to spew... Fuck Off.

Hmmm have your predictions ever been wrong? ahem ahem ahem

-- (take@a.guess), March 09, 2002.

Did you not see the question mark at the end of the title?

However, I WAS the one who predicted the Seattle earthquake within a few days of when it happened. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

-- Cosmo (time@will.tell), March 09, 2002.

Generator started on 3 pulls with ether encouragement but canned stuff mostly hit the dumpster. Good God I'm naked!!!

-- Carlos (, March 09, 2002.

Oh I thought you were FS

-- (take@a.guess), March 09, 2002.

No, FS is the one who made some stupid ass remark when I predicted the Seattle quake, then had to eat humble pie a few days later.

-- Cosmo (just@around.corner), March 09, 2002.

Carlos, got a digital camera? : )

-- Pammy (, March 09, 2002.

Cosmo, I know what you mean. There is much strange Arab behavior around here. All the mosques are shutdown. Costco and Walmart have both been overrun with worried customers and are now seriously out of stock. The media has been trying to warn us about what is coming, and to top it off I had a dream that President Bush converted to Islam, and was driving a bulldozer over every church in America. If that wasn't bad enough, I have indigestion and bad vibes of what will happen to the ordinary American if they don't buy my preparedness book for only $39.95.

Feeling a little sensitive Cosmo? I trust you'll be back here - shamefaced - when your pathetic prediction predictably fizzles?

-- Dennis Molson (, March 09, 2002.

Cosmo = Rich = Bingo = Whatever. Just another ‘Fairy Tale’.

If Cosmo is Rich, then I'm LL!! As in L o L!!!

The latest Cosmo had a fascinating piece on how to satisfy your lover during an earthquake.

We can't have anything happen that requires prep use. The refugee center has been shut down. The outhouse was never built, and I've decided to plant wildflowers where the outhouse would have been. A disaster now would be most unfair. I was patient. I waited two full years after the non-event to dismantle the potty bucket. I've rescinded all the invitations to join my small army ... uh, democratic work group unit ... and I've given away three beds. Tell whoever is responsible for dooming to call this thing off.

-- helen (, March 09, 2002.

The way I see it, Cosmo's prediction can't possibly fail - because he(she?) didn't actually make a prediction. He just felt some feelings and raised some ominous possibilities and skated around. Now, if something happens, Cosmo will no doubt claim some kind of credit for predicting it, when in fact he has done nothing at all but wave his hands in an exceptionally vague way.

"The vibes are very synchronistic lately... something major is likely to happen soon"

This kind of claptrap may play well in other places, but not here in the real world. Stay away from the brown acid man...

-- Bob Bildeberger (, March 09, 2002.

It is an inductive fallacy to predict anything (good or bad) for the future. Just becase the sun has always risen doesn't make it a certainty that it will rise tomorrow. Come to think of it, it hasn't always risen.

-- (, March 09, 2002.

Roland is absolutely right. Sometimes the suns sets.

Definitely something big happening. I don't know what exactly, but I definitely hope think most of the pollies will be dead by the end of this week.

If he goes to ABC, David Letterman's new feature: Stupid Doomer Tricks

In light of 911, I doubt that would happen Lars, and it certainly wouldn't be very funny. It's only a matter of time before something much worse happens, and unfortunately that time will be very soon.

-- (you@are.dreaming), March 11, 2002.

Fortunately, it won't affect us because we will be prepared. We have beans, we have rice, we have LOTS of guns and ammo, and some recently acquired Denver Bronco merchandise. After the economy crumbles, Bronco merchandise will be the new currency and we will rule the Earth.

" It's only a matter of time before something much worse happens, and unfortunately that time will be very soon."

Stupid doomers. It's as if they learned nothing from their Y2K humiliation. Hoping and willing for something bad to happen is an exercise in futility, as you should remember from 1999.

Claiming that "it will be very soon" because "The vibes are very synchronistic lately" makes you lot look even duller than you actually are. Your gifts of prognostication are, shall we say, stinko...

Remove your tin-foil hat, take some midol and go to the movies... and relax...
