Does any one out there remember Mike Burke and his Honda and Kawasaki fours up--grades? I've got a set of Mike Burke coils on my 750 and would like to find something similar for my 550. I know that these coils where sourced from some automobile maybe a VW? I' not sure and don't want to waste my time or the Auto parts parts clerks time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I remember reading in an old magazine about usinf car coils mostly for twins, but I fugure that there was at one point a car out there that used a two wire coil.

g'day jeremy i have never heard of these coils.if you can find some cb 900 coils with a little bit of work can be fitted onto your 550 frame and you can change the leads as well regards ted hayes brisbane australia.
