I'd like to see people participate in these discussions as individuals, not as representatives of a group or ideology. I feel like I need a lot of understanding, that I don't always understand what I'm doing, either, and ideally I'd like to learn some new things here. How about you?

I agree with you. I'm interested in communicating with people, learning, discussing ideas. I don't want this to turn into a sectarian free-for-all, which is what often happens (at least that I've seen on Indymedia).

Maybe we should post something on Indymedia (on the front page) to alert people to the existence of this board. I have to run now so I can't do it, but if it's not done by tomorrow I will.
