I just give them loose minerals. There is salt added to one of the grains I use, and maybe even in the minerals, but I can't recall right now. They seem to do fine with this. I use the Purina loose cattle minerals.

I use loose cattle minerals like Doreen. We don't put out additional salt, because we don't want the goats choosing salt over thier minerals, which had more salt in them :) If cattlemen in your area are using sulfur blocks, ask them why and then choose to use it or not. Do NOT feed sulphur blocks to your males, intact or castrated, we have two towns around us, Zavalla which is north and La Grange which is west, both have horrible, rotten egg sulphur water, they also have buck problems big time with urinary Calculi, even with bucks on normal amounts of Ammonium chloride.
