I have a 55 minute mpeg file which runs Ok on Media Player, Xing, Creative play center or any other mpg players. I want to burn it on a VCD, hence it should be converted into an image file first. I have tried many tools and always end up with an error message: "packet length beyond buffer". It seems to me that the problem is in the mpeg file which is only partially (7 min) correct.

Do you know how to fix the error? What tool should be used or any reference to get more info on it ..

VCDGear 3.06 failed to fix the error. It turns out now that the older version (VCDGear 2.0) is able to repair the stream.
