eos rebel xs flash

I recently aquired a rebel xs with a non functioning flash as a backup., the flash appears to be an easy repair as well as a common problem.any instruction or advice availble thanks.

Uh. Where did you hear that? Have you heard from others that there are common problems with the flash that are easily repaired, or is this a guess just by looking at it?

I ask not to be snarky but for more information. I've never heard of any easily repairable flash problems with that camera. It's not a motor issue since it's not a motorized flash. But I'd be interested in hearing where you heard that idea.

I do not understand your question. Nor do I understand your follow-up.

Are you asking if your camera is easily repairable? Unless you are an experienced camera repair person with access to a service manual, testing equipment, tools and parts, I would hazard to guess that you won't be able to fix it.

if you have recently got it, get rid of it and go for another one.

whats the problem with your flash. and what kind of advice do you want. advice for how to repair or advice for the flash appears to be an easy repair as well as a common problem.
