Update to A Perfect Day ... For Fishing

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Style Homesteading : One Thread

Okay ... for all of you who were envious of my "fish story," here's an update. We're having the channel cat filets tonight (that's the good news) and tomorrow we're expected to have wind chill factor of zero degree weather! AAAaaarrrgggghhhh! I'm ready for summertime already! Anyway, thought you'd get a kick out of that! It's not 8" of ice on the lake like someone said in another post somewhere, but it's downrite chilly!

Keep warm and have a good evening!

I hear you Phil! I had my shorts on yesterday and today it's snowing.

Whew, at least we missed out on the snow, but it's supposed to be 10* here tonight, and when I went out to warm up the vehicle this morning to take the kiddo to school, I thought someone had moved Siberia to Central Oklahoma overnight! Are you frozen yet, Phil?

Yeah Christine - we're frozen in almost. Very windy out of the north makes the double digit temps seem MUCH colder! Tonight it's supposed to get down into the single digits and they're tracking another snow storm. I didn't watch all of the weather to see how much/when/for how long the storm is supposed to be around, but right now it's COLD! Glad I got the fish-fever took care of the other day when it was 72 degrees :-)! I'll sure be glad when it gets warm and stays warm for a while! Spring fever is putting it mildly!
