Running Empty from NH to Mo

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Hi folks,

I am delivering a tractor to one of my farms in New Hampshire...leaving from CA tomorrow.

I will be empty from South central NH to St. Louis Mo...possibly to KC. If you have something to go along the general route and email me tonight or within the next 4 days or so, I will consider hauling loads back west. I am just a person and would haul in barter or for some diesel as I am not insured to haul commercial for this trip. 20 foot gooseneck 83 inch bed, 10,000 pound load. Please, as I said, if I can help you out cool, but I am not for hire.

I have opted not to leave a message at the haul log on Yesterday's Tractors on purpose for this trip so please don't suggest it to me. I am looking to help someone out, not sell a service. I am happy to run empty but it seems like a waste.

Thanks.

Oscar

Pick George up in NH, and bring him to me, St. Louis is not too far! I'd love to meet him; C'mon George! You can ride my horse!

Thanks for posting this; I'd like to know more dependable truckers having to drive empty and don't want to. In the past few months I've learned the cost of shipping! I don't expect something for nothing, but I'm not able to support the industry either. Are there any boards online where others post empty runs?

Wish I could help you out, but I've got a load of hay/alfalfa going to Atlanta area tomorrow and a load of citrus from Florida coming back.
