Homemade Italian Seasoning
If a recipe calls for Italian seasoning and you're fresh out, create your own by mixing equal parts crushed rosemary, oregano, thyme and basil leaves.
Coating chicken with breadcrumbs is an easy way to fix chicken whether you're baking or frying it. If you own a blender, you can make breadcrumbs in a matter of seconds. Just break bread slices into big pieces and turn on your blender. To make a more savory breading, add a few tablespoons of parmesan cheese, and some garlic powder and freshly-ground pepper.
For a very easy dinner, put the breading mixture in a plastic bag, add boneless, skinless chicken breasts two at a time and shake to coat them. Place the chicken on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
