Thank you!! It was scary not being able to 'talk' to my friends!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Style Homesteading : One Thread

I was so upset! I felt like some thing was dying! I know it silly but I have come to love all the countryside people and all the help they have given to me!!

I know exactly what you mean Debbie! I don't post much on the forum (I suspect THAT will change :-) but I'm an every-day, sometimes several times-a-day browser. I feel like I know so many of the people there and I couldn't stand not having my "forum fix" every day! Thanks for posting!

I don't post much either, but I would certainly hate to see it all go down the tubes.

Do you have an idea of forum rules for this one, Phil? I would certainly like to see them, so I know where we all "stand", so to speak, if you have them ready!

Thanks!

Good question Christine ... it's pretty simple really (as the posts go) - there will be catagories just like on CS, but I've put duct tape over my DEL key to the regular contributors. It's still there for the trolls, nasties, etc. but unless it gets REALLY nasty (and hopefully grown adults won't let it come to that) I won't delete anything posted on the forum. I sort of feel like Vicki McGaugh TX does - don't want to be spoonfed! If you don't like a thread, don't read it - it's that simple! About the only thing I will PUSH for is choosing the catagory of the thread posted. That really saves a lot of time on this end! I will list all the particulars in a day or so! Hope to see you here! I'm also working on a website for the forum - think it will be made up of the folks who visit here (articles, pictures, etc.) What do you (and others) think of that!

DITTO on the "forum fix". I'm a every-day browser. I didn't post much either, I too expect that to change too, being a newbie to the world homesteading and so to be goat farmer.
