offset hoppers

Does anyone know the number range for Southern's 50/55 ton offset hoppers around 1950? Also which of these were owned by CNO&TP and AGS? Thanks

The best source I've found for this type of information is the "Southern Railway Freight Equipment Diagram Books, published by the Southern Railway Historical Society. The offset-side cars are shown in diagrams 1-H2202 and 1-H2203. Numbers are:

106500-107499 1000 cars built by ACF in 1948 112500-113249 750 cars built by P-S in 1940 285500-285999 500 cars built by P-S in 1937-1940 320100-320699 600 cars built by P-S in 1937-1940

I have a copy of The Official Railway Equipment Register for 10/1959. This shows that there were 976, 727, 489 and 579 cars from these series still on the roster.
