Looking for grain

Greetings!

I shoot HP5+ (35mm) and am looking to increase the grain size of the image with minimal enlargement. Would Rodinal be a good place to start? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Ken

Yep, Rodinal would be a good place to start. And probably also where you'll wind up. Of course, you could try Dektol at 85 degrees. But Rodinal is a better idea.

one of my students ran a whole series of test to find a film/deve. combo to produce a specific grainy pattern. HP5 was tested but he decided to go with Tri-X with TEC developer. Grain is wonderful.
