Vancouver Members ! Be Careful while buying any camera

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Canon EOS FAQ forum : One Thread

Dear Members

I would like to inform all the members who are in vancouver, BC area not to buy camera from Broadway Camera, they deal with defective cameras. My sister bought a Rebel 2000 camera from them, on the very first day it had some flash problem. the same story i had from one person in coquitlam who was made fool by sales rep named "henery" in broadway camera. I will suggest Kerisdale camera is a good shop. I have already made a compliant to canon to cancel their dealership and i have hired a lawyer to file a case in smal scale court to get my refund .

Thanks John Brown

I've dealt w/ Broadway Camera for about for years now and so far never had any problem w/ their service. I've dealt w/ both Henry and Allen and so far they game me the best price and the best customer service in town compare to Lens/Shutter. I recently bought an Elan 7e. This is something the focis screen, I brought it back the next day and Allen replaced it with no problem. A friend of mine bought a Canon Rebel 2000 kit. He noticed that the lens has some kind of sand grinding when focusing, he brought it back the next day and Allen replaced it w/ no problem.

Both sales rep has been good to me and the people I've send to them.
