Now I don't want to be a downer or anything -thats for dougal!! BUT I fear for our midfield against the likes of Viera and Gerrard. Whilst I think Speed can hold his own I can see McClen getting overran. I would feel much better with Lee still here. Anyone else feel we are all dooooommmmed

Well, we were, by all accounts, over-run at Highbury. Rob Lee gifted Liverpool their first at SJP but Gerrard didn't play so it's hard to judge: I think we had most of the possession but just couldn't get past their back four which is where you'd hope Robert could maybe do something special.

Robert and Solano are suspect defensively on the other hand they are creating chance after chance. McClen is no world beater but has done well, he keeps things simple, his positioning is fine, all-in-all very good. Acuna is a Premiership quality player. Speed has been splendid over the last few games, no! lets make that all season. Jenas: we’ll see.
This team is getting better all the time. I honestly believe, home or away, if we play to our numerous strengths we need to fear no one. Let the others worry because by god they have something to fear.

Let other teams worry? Its fine talking about our strengths, but what about our defending and more worryingly our inability to break down teams who defend in numbers?
