That question is even better than what would you do with a million bucks? I LOVE it. Fun to dream. Let's see....Help dig the ground out from under where my cottage will be. I've got half way done and my left shoulder complained so I've had to take a few months off, glad it was winter months. Help put in a little culvert on the low part of the path(drive) into my building site. It's wet and squishy until mid June. Help me put in wind or solar--I am electrically challenged and will probably stay that way. Ready Kilowatt scares me. All you "oldies" out there may remember Ready from when TV was new and there were warnings on it for kids to stay away from him (Ready Kilowatt) and to duck and cover in case of bombs and don't pick up unexploded cylinders. Weird the way the mind wanders after 50.

Oops, sorry Grizz. I didn't notice you said ONE thing. I pick help with the driveway.

I'm going to think about that. You offering to come here and do the work?

Susan

Hey Grizz are you looking for a working vacation? I bet Sherry, Cabin and I could come up with a whole mess of work and you could get to know the middle third of our state real well. Then if you drive you could stsop in Michigan and help the other Susan and Jim- mi and I think Stan is there somewhere too. You could work your way across the country and it would only cost you gas money, Maybe!

Hey Grizz; How long am I going to have that help? One day? A week? Do I have to provide the shovels? Food? This is such a nice offer...but can I afford it?

-- Jim-mi (hartalteng@voyager.net), February 10, 2002.

We all have something that we cant do by ourselves!! What is your most important thing!! Say a time limit of 1 week!! No cost at all to you! How many seen the movie Pay it Forward!! thats kinda the idea!

-- Grizz in Western Maryland (southerneagle@yahoo.com), February 10, 2002.

I'm not a movie goer so I have no idea...

-- Jim-mi (hartalteng@voyager.net), February 10, 2002.

Yes--I have seen that movie and loved it! I have been trying to talk someone into helping me put a chainlink fence around my mobile home! I am dreading summer when all the small kids are out playing and I want to be out working in the small yard I do have! I feel like this is the one thing that is going to make it bearable for me to tough out my time here! So far though,I guess whatever I have had to offer in return hasn't been enough! :) I'm still working on it though--and you guys are all safe-I live so far away from most of you!!!

I tried this last night and just as I finished typing it the server went down, so here's hoping it works.

O.K. I've got it thanks to Lynn. Fencing, especially my riding area and corral. Also if I could add another or an alternate, my barn needs work. How about three projects or yet another alternate, roofs. Stable, barn, house, garage, grainery.

I just need help, period!!

Grizz, I would get a new roof on the garage/barn and remodel the inside so it would truly be a barn, prob. move the chickens into one corner and paint the poor old peeling thing so the neighbors will be happy. My eldest son does all the fencing for me but if I had more time and money I would get him some help and buy 3 more rolls of fence and a whole buch of fence poles. The goats would be in pasture heaven when that gets done!!! Have a great day. karen

We tore down a 100+ year old barn last summer and intend to rebuild it. It will be a combination farrowing house for pigs and home for our new lambs. Those great big beams are heavy and awkard. Some help would be a blessing.

-- Joanie (ber-gust@prodigy.net), February 11, 2002.

Just one thing that needs to be done? The list is endless. Paint the inside of the house, put down new flooring, rebuild a floor. Ok so much for the inside jobs, spring is coming. Outside, finish fencing to put my lambs in, someone to thin out the raspberries, put gravel on the driveway. Thats the short list! Sherry

Ok Grizz, we've all had a say--what do you need????

-- Lynn is Wash. (crabbyfiddler@earthlink.net), February 11, 2002.

This came from a friend I hope you all think it is funny. I do not intend to offend anyone.

A woman's fantasy!

He was tall, muscular, and handsome, with thick dark hair and beautiful, sparkling green eyes, and his every movement was so masculine and sensuous that the woman could not help but stare.

The man noticed that he was the object of the woman's rapt attention, and with a sly, sexy smile, approached her. Blushing, she prepared to apologize for staring, but he leaned close and whispered in her ear. "I'll do anything," he whispered in a deep, soft voice. "Anything, absolutely anything you want, anything you have ever fantasized, for fifty dollars. There's just one condition..."

Trembling with anticipation, the woman asked him the condition. The man said, "You have to tell me what you want me to do in just three words." The woman gazed into his hypnotic eyes, considering the proposition, then reached into her handbag and took out fifty dollars. She scribbled her address on a napkin, folded it around the cash, and pressed it into his waiting hand. She leaned over and whispered into his ear... ..."Clean.....my....house."

For fifty dollars? I'd have him clean the barn!

-- Sherry (tlnifty@ecenet.com), February 12, 2002.

Oh boy don't get me started on three word combinations!

Come to think about it, that could be kinda fun!

-1. make love to-me......?

-2.wax my truck.....

-3. kiss my ________

time to quit.......
