How long did SCL U36B # 1776 remain in red, white, and blue? Was it ever repainted back into SCL black and yellow, or did it go right into Family Lines or Seaboard System grey?

The 2002 ACL & SAL HS calendar has a photo (Feb.) by a Joseph L. Oates showing the 1776 still in bicentennial paint in Dec. 1978.

It was repainted into FL,but I don't know when.
