All of you who were worrying about so many buck kids, yesterday I had 3 bucks & 1 doe....... Today I have 3 & 3! I have 3 more does to deliver over the next 3 weeks. Think twins & more girls! (I am stuck bottle feeding a tiny buck from triplets.) Good luck everyone!!!

CONGRATS on the new babies. Glad to hear all is well, many of us have not had such a kind yr. reading on many of the lists about kidding early, abortions and kidding problems. Friday we had another doe kid, the 2nd of 20 that were supposed to freshen next week. You may have read my post here a few weeks ago about loosing one of the top Alpine does in the country kidding 3 weeks too soon. She had triplets, 2 does and a buck. she was the promise of our herd and I so wanted a buck out of her. Plus her does would ahve been really sharp too.

I read about that, that is so terrible. We breed Nubian/Alpine crosses. It would break my heart if anything happened to anybody.
