One of my favorite quotes is "Society shows three main personality types, the "optimist", "pessimist" and the "realist". If on a ship in an uncooperative sea, the optimist will feel the winds will surely change. The pessimist will only trod the decks , cursing the "damn winds". Yet the realist will evaluate the winds and trim the sails accordingly to progress however slowly on his way."
