Well my power supply for my home puter is decidedly ill. I can't find one for under $100 and my patch job went kablooey on me. So to everyone with whom I am way behind on correspondence, my apologies;). And to the rest of ya folks-I guess I'll do a little snoopy dance when I get this situation all straightened out. In the meantime, be nice, and don't play in the chemtrails! See ya!!!!

Sorry about your power supply, Doreen. I recently bought a UPS, and it's reputedly a good one, for about $69. I bought it to avoid all the freezing up my computer was doing, after hearing about how poor the quality of the power is out here in the sticks!

Doreen, a power supply for a regular type PC should not cost $100! I recently bought a cabinet complete with power supply for about US$42.

Well, this is one of those times that I wish I had the IBM format. I have an ibook. You can't buy the part I need, you have to buy the whole package. I found that I could buy half of the entire thing (which contains the plug that I need) for $75. Radio Shack doesn't stock the plug. It's like a $1 thing that is wrong, but you can't find the thing!!! grrrr again. I got a good deal on ibook, and we use Mac for work, so it was more logical for me.

I have been holding the plug by hand for a month, then when I found out how much they wanted to replace it after holding wouldn't work, I decided to chop it apart and see if I could splice it...that worked for a day! I'm watching ebay as my business partner swears by it....we shall see.

OK Doreen, I am not familiar with the iBook so can't offer anything useful, perhaps it would be easier and good therapy to fix the trailer instead! :)

Doreen, Try eBay. This is a link to the one listed that ends on the 4th: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1327434044 It's at $42 dollars right now, shipping is $10. I've got a bunch of wholesale links, so I'll see what else I can find on the net and post anything that looks good. HOpe it helps, Kristin
