Heres my biography, don't fall asleep reading it :>)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A Country Singletree : One Thread

I'm a low mileage , two owner DWM , 5'10",190 lbs, 41 years old and still not sure what I want to be when I grow up. I enjoy fishing, hunting, reading, science research, gardening, playing chess, checkers and other board games, making wine, tinkering with electronics and computers, learning new things, enjoyable conversation and watching quarterhorse races. First wife passed away, second felt we didn't have enough in common and dumped me after six years and a job layoff.

I think I'm 1/4 bear, 1/4 puppy dog, 1/4 jackass and 1/4 "still under construction". Have been described as being "politically incorrect". I am not one to say "I told you so" to anyone, but I have been known to lock myself in my tinker shop to complete a project to prove a point to myself. I always try to have at least one project handy to keep myself occupied. I guess I am sort of boring , but I enjoy life and sharing special moments and insights with others.

Thanks Jay! It's fun to have a picture in my mind when I read your posts. Maybe I'll be the next brave soul to post my bio.

Jay hang in there guy: There is >life after divorce<. I'm living [i think] proof of that..

But the longer it goes[time] the harder it is to replace and the criteria goes up.

Dam ..I'm not getting older, I'm getting better!!!!

Jim-mi,

The really sad part is that I have made more progress in the two months they have been gone, then I did during the last two years of my marriage. I feel bad saying it , but its true, the best thing my wife did for my blood pressure and our marriage was to leave.

Jay I know exactly what you are saying when you mention the blood pressure. The best thing I did for my kids and myself was to get my divorce. He is on his third marriage and it is funny to see the patterns repeat themselves. I've been divorced for going on 8 years, sure I'm lonely but I sure haven't found anyone who hasn't been a real jerk. Maybe I should rephrase that. I've found them, non-jerk type, but they are taken. I think I have to give it up and just have friends. But according to Cabin that isn't possible either. I have you guys! that's fairly safe right?

Susan,

That was the scary part of mine. She was on her third and it was almost like my first as I was widowed seven months into my first marriage. My ex did every exact thing to me that she told me about doing to the other two guys to the letter. I guess thats why it didn't phase me so bad when she finally did leave.
