We are looking into switching to State Farm. Our current insurance is $511 a month for just 2 of us. State Farm has comparable coverage for $373. May even get something cheaper with a value plan.

We've currently got catastrophic health insurance through State Farm in Wisc. and our agent has told us that they won't be writing any new policies, just servicing current policies. The other thing you should know about State Farm is that every quarter we've been billed by them, our rates have gone up! Maybe to get rid of the existing policy holders?

That's strange, because in Wyoming they're just now offering major medical insurance, which they've never had before. Hmmm........

I was looking for insurance the other day and came up with this address. http://www.ehealthinsurance.com/ehi/index.html I really haven't checked it out closely as we won't need it for over a year but it might help you.

TRY DOING A SEARCH OF MUTUAL AID SHARING PLANS OR JUST SHARING PLAN WE HAVE A SHARING PLAN THAT GIVES HEALTH COVERAGE THAT IS AVAILABLE THRU OUR CHURCH BUT I KNOW THAT THERE ARE OTHER PLANS I'VE READ THAT HAVE VERY REASONABLE FAMILY PLANS WHAT ALL IS COVERED AND WHAT KIND OF DEDUCTABLE VARIES A LOT BUT IT WON'T COST YOU ANYTHING TO LOOK AROUND.....RON

First of all, I must say I DON'T HAVE ANY AFFILIATION WITH ANY OF THESE ORGANIZATIONS OR PLANS....I FOUND THIS INFORMATION ON THE FOLLOWING WEB SITE www.crown.org - It is the web site for Larry Burkett's organization, Crown Financial Ministries. So, you can check it out for yourself! ;)

Here are 3 web site addresses for info. on medical share plans:

www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2000/011/17.24.html www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2001/008/25.16.html www.worldmag.com/world/issue/06-22-96/cover_1.asp

Also, here are some web site addresses for organizations that have actual plans:

www.gogoodsam.com www.tccm.org www.christianbrotherhood.org/cbn www.beracah.org www.christianet.com/blessed

HOPE THIS HELPS!
