Carbon Monoxide, Coke Floats and [preachin]

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

Well I lied! I just couldn't stay away tonight. Will still be gone tomorrow and the rest of the week.

While we were in Texas--Bro Leroy Jenkins was stayin in an older mobile home right behind the crusade building. They had no heat and that was mentioned the night of my healing. Gas furnace that didn't work was the reason. I ask'd'm if they wanted me to have a look see --they said "why yes"! They were also sleepin on the floor because they hadn't had time to get beds bought. I unloade Lil Dumplins campin AIR MATTRESSES and give'm to'm. [Old fat men don't sleep on those thangs layin right on the ground, floor or whatever.] Told'm to turn off the pilot llight to the furnace. Set for Natural gas and hooked ot propane. It was putting out CO and with a bad vent! Circulating co throughtout the house. It had worked for a day or two but everybody got sick inside. Bellyaches, headaches etc etc. They ended up putting a new electric furnace in it on Tuesday. No problems with co and electric.

I was quite happy. Healed, helped a Brother in Christ from gettin sick or dyin, got rid of those blasted air matttesses and it didn't cost me a dime!!!! Talk about bein blessed!!!

Kinda cool here tonite in S.E. IL but that's ok. Ole Calvin is outside protecting the homestead from those killer skunks whilst I set inside drinkin Iced Tea by the quarts [because Jerry Travis didn't bring me a coke float] and ettin some chik'n gruel! Life don't get much better than what I get to live it except when Lil DUmpllin is here to share it with me'n ole calvin! After all the years of bein married to'r [almost 36] it still gets lonesome here without'r. Calvin just ain't no good to loaf with!

Folks, Jesus Christ is coming soon. In the meantime what are you doin for Him? Precious souls are suffering and dying each and every day--some goin to hell for all eternity. It's time for His people to do the work He has called'm to. Old hoot. Matt. 24:44

I'm glad to hear from you again, Hoot, I missed you! I'm glad you took care of that carbon monoxide too-that stuff is nasty! If I could, I'd send you a coke float.
