Hey, I was thinking in one thing.... Why you, editors don´t creat a gallery with funny replays???

I mean, with unbelievable plays, like this: I´ve played bosconian and did 199990 after I´ve died!!!! Too funny no, Joey?

Yesterday I´ve played Altered Beast and I was in the last level. Was my last life and I´the life bar was in the last grade, when I´ve toke the power up. When I´ve toke the power up, a wolf killed me! If I could survive, maybe I could beat the hi of Kale!!!!!!

So, this recorded I´ve deleted, I have only the snap of bosconian.... :( but I´m telling all this just like a suggest. So what you think about this?

Heh (only 10 points till next life! ;P). I agree, something like that. Yesterday I was playing New Rally X, and I went through the wall. Maybe a page with bugs/oddities? (I know a bugs page exists, but rarely anything is added to it.)

This is a cool idea, sounds like there should be a upload flag that tells the database not to rank the submited inps by points or totaled in the leaderboard and keep separate from regular uploads. The current tricks and tips page inps could be placed in this separate uploads section along with all the goofy inps people can think of.

This, of course, involves a lot of website work, to have two separate marp sections one for fun and one for competition. But if we dare zwaxy and the gang to do it, maybe it'll happen.

To Arkanoi, when the ball bounce in a stage and a grey (1up) item fall, you think to take it, but at the last moment, the last tile is broken by the ball. And, of course, its your last life and you lost at the beginning of the following stage. I made it many times :-)

I have also many silly deads in Rygar :-)

maybe it's just me, but I don't think "silly scores" are worth having a section of... there could always be that argument that you were TRYING to get that score. On both of tib@Team2ch's Gaplus recordings, he stops the score at 10,000,000 even... he obviously could've kept playing but intended to finish at that score to give it a nice round number. That's awesome. If you can do stuff like that in regular submissions, go for it... but having a separate section on MARP for those... ehhhh...

Bugs and glitches though, I'm all for those. Back in the first couple months of MARP, there were a lot of updates to that section... and Zwaxy even let people make "requests" for bugs/tricks that they'd heard of but never seen in action. That was cool. But then when he added the leaderboard, that section pretty much became all but forgotten...

Dear "Shadow",about your description of altbeas2,I'm neither impressed nor "angry".Altered Beast is a very stupid game,you need to do exactly the SAME moves for playing it,and there are Dance Dance Revolution or Punchmania Hokuto no Ken series for that.In other words,I WILL NEVER PLAY IT NEITHER NOW NOR IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
MARP requires something else than finishing a game that someone else has already done ,be happy for beat the 1st with a mere 1000 pt,and, most important ,offend him with "You must play it now again because I've beated you(insert here a stupid laugh)"


I will say for everyone "Play Altered Beast and you will have random effect into your sexual performance(exactly the viceversa of the game:)..."

Because it's always nice/fun to "relearn" a game,good or bad it is;I still remember my whining with my brother(Xmas 1989):

"This game sucks,

Daddy please buy me another game,

what's mean Aua(Power up)?

Please,turn off this game,I hate his sound..."

Probably this is the main reason I hate the game,it didn't give me a great impression neither in my arcade(near Strider...),nor in the Mega Drive conversion.But,meanwhile,between Strider,Phantasy Star,The Revenge of Shinobi,Wonder Boy V ,Bonanza Bros. and all the others there still were that game with one of the worst cover ever made (european),that was saying:"learn me,I'm not so bad,I'm a nice game for show the ego power to your friends,you can't show them that you can finish Phantasy Star..."
Knowing that there is someone out there that wants to see a mastered play for EACH game and maybe is a fan of that game(first of all my friends),I've done it.After all,I don't think normal people will bother to download m36b8 for playback a 1000pts-better recording...
