I use my food processor for making meatloaf, meatballs, etc. The only problem is that my food processor only hold about 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound of meat at a time. I half the recipe and make it in two batches. By halfing I mean I use 1/2 of all the ingredients at a time. It saves getting my hands all messy.

I have tried many things, but the one that works the best is the two hands God gave you. Try making the soap on this forum and wash your hands afterwards...LOL...Kidding!

Well, the hands that God gave me have deteriorated so I must depend on other methods!

I found an extra pan and knead paddle for my bread machine that I use for kneading meats because of my arthritic left hand and stop it after the kneading cycle.

Great idea, Jay! I must try that!

A pastry cutter (at least I think that's what it's called).

I use a potato masher or "let" the kids do it by hand.

I use a pair of cheap disposable gloves, like the EMTs use, to do all my hamburger meat loaf/ball mixing. I cannot stand the feel of that hamburger on my hands -- or under my fingernails! Soap or no, I can't get them clean enough to suit me!

With the glove, I can either wash my hands in good hot water without scalding my fingers, or just peel them off and toss them if they're too bad, and voila! clean dry, ungreasy hands!

My hands are kind of old (like the rest of me LOL) I use my Kitchenaid mixer and it does the job thuroughly. Use the regular mixer and set on a low/slow speed and its done in a minute or so.
