greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

Please add your prayer requests to the list for this week. Also if you have any updates post them here.

Please keep these people in your prayers for the week(s) ahead. Thanks to all!

I would like to ask you all to keep my grandmother (Marcella) on your prayer list. She is sick with a kidney infection, and a touch of the flu. The antibiotics are upsetting her stomach, and the nursing home is difficult for her to get any rest in, as there is a bit of commotion and noise sometimes. She was a bit down tonight, so I am hoping she will feel better soon. Thanks...

Your grandmother is in my prayers. It can be very painful to be on antibiotics. I hope they give her some yogurt (even frozen) or acidopholus so she can feel better.

My son John Michael has an infected tooth. Pray that we can get into the dentist Monday morning and the pain will subside. He is in a lot of pain. Thank you and God Bless.

Michaele: That is so sad that John Michael has this pain. I hope with the holiday that you are able to see a dentist (some will come in on weekends for things like this).

On New Year's Eve my mother was on her way to work and had a car wreck. Because her initial symptoms mimicked a stroke a cat scan was done and then she was transferred to a better equipped hospital. Testing revealed the car wreck was caused by a tumor in her brain which led to the discovery of the main tumor in her chest and also more tumors elsewhere in her body. She is now undergoing radiation soon to be followed by chemo. However she is in stage 4 cancer and we are devasted. Why wasn't it found sooner? She had surgery in April to remove 2 tumors that were benign and near the one in her chest. Her prognosis is not good and I don't know what to do. She lives in MO and I live in CO. My father will be lost without her as will the rest of us. I have a year old granddaughter (her great granddaughter) and she just loves her Gram. My mom is only 61. Please keep all of us in your prayers in the year to come. Thank you BILLIE

Micheale, I hope Your littel boy is doing better by now. I'm sure it was very painful for him. I don't know of any good home remedies, but I ma going to post this question today for everyone.

My husband's niece had a baby prematurely yesterday. She had to have a cesarean and the baby weighed only 2 pounds 4 ounces. Please keep them in your prayers.
