YBR in his own words

From Sporting Life, who amazingly used 'worse' instead of 'worst' twice in their article, so not sure exactly how accurate this quote is.... ;-)

Robson said: "It was probably our worse 45-minute performance of the season in the first half. We were half a yard off pace all over the pitch during that period.

"If you are going to win championships all finish second, third or fourth then you have to come to places like this, a team at the bottom and pick up free points.

"I feel disappointed because we have dropped two points and we haven't done what Manchester United did today which is to not play very well and win.

"You can't play brilliantly every Saturday. There is no way anyone can do that.

"But what you have to do when things aren't 100right is to contrive a victory. Manchester United have done it today and we haven't.

"In the second half we did pick it up a bit and I said at half time that Leicester might not be able to sustain their high energy level of performance and that actually happened.

"We got our act together in the second half and we had the better chances but they fought like foxes and overall I think they deserved a point."

Well, dunno if half the ytpos (sic) in that were yours or cut'n'pastes. I also heard YBR being interviewed where he was going on about "Golf's the name of the game" desrcibing luck, effort etc (I think). Then he continued "And that's the name of football too". Bless him ;-)
