You can also get them from Lehmans hardware. There is a link to their page, that gives us credit, on our home page. www.amazinggrazefarm.com

I know I get a catalog from someone that sells these...will try and see if I still have it. But....go to a person that sells maple syrup in your area. They just might have some old ones that they would sell you. Often times in the paper you will find someone that is selling out of their maple syrup business and you can buy from them also. I am sorry to say but I probably have a few that did break off in the trees years ago and are growing with the tree. It is neat to see where you put a tap many years ago and then look up to see how big that tree has gotten over the years. We just make enough for the house...not that many maple trees on our property and always wish we had planted more years back...how time flys !!! But...Good Luck !!!

Hi Vicki..... The best thing I ever used for taps was an old piece of bamboo from an old bamboo miniblind. Just angle a cut on one end, so it drives in easily , cut to length and notch the other end to hang a bucket from so it doesn't slip off. After you are done, just rinse well in bleach water, let dry and store for next year. The one bamboo rod I used made almost 10 taps. Harmony
