Funny Dog story

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

When we first got our dog, she was bad to chew up things if we left her alone. A friend who trains dogs suggested leaving the radio on when we left-and whacked though it might sound, it works.

Yesterday, we were in a hurry, and I forgot to turn the radio on so I sent my son back in to do it, while I buckled my daughter in the car. He came back and said-"I couldn't reach the radio, so I put a video in" Well, that made me laugh, but I really laughed after I dropped the kids offand came home I found that in my hurry, I'd left the pantry door ajar. The dog had nosed open the door, got herself a few doggie treats that we keep in there and was streached out on the couch (NOT ALLOWED!!!) eating a snack and watching t.v.!

That is hilarious Kelly! I do think maybe you are spoiling your dog a little though. I mean snacks, a couch, and a video are a little over the top!!!!!!! Ha, Ha!

That is Sooooo funny!!! Reminds me of some people I knew whose dogs were getting on their white living room couch and leaving fur-- but were trained not to enter the living room at all. Since it would never happen if the owners were home they were puzzled because the freshly vacuumed carpet would never show dog paw prints.

One day they set up their video camera as they left for work. As soon as their car left the driveway (dogs would watch in the window) they leapt from chair to table to chair to couch! Never touching the ground. Something they would never DARE do if the owners were home! Ha!

I have seen a vidio of a goat that would escape a tall fence by "telling" a minature horse to stand still, then use the horse as a launch pad to jump over the fence.

Kelly, did the dog get into the 6 pack?
