Taking a break

Well, we've been pretty much out of commission all week, passing around a virus and a bad cold on top of it! Today is the first day I've really felt like doing much of anything for more than 10 minutes at a time, but I'm losing energy now, so I thought I'd stop and see what was going on around here.

I decided it was definitely time to get those sheets changed, so by 9:30 I was putting in my third load of laundry for the day, and getting all the towels, washrags and kitchen toweling done too, putting a little bleach in with most of them just to kill any lingering germs.

Mitchell went back to school today, but I kept Nick from mother's day out because his fever was still hanging on last night, but he is sure full of spit and vinegar today! (more so that I am, for sure!)

Wouldn't you know it, too, I've had calls to substitute all week - even two this morning, one from the public schools and one from Sonshine School (MDO). Figures when I am sick, so is everyone else.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well, I see that the weigh-in is going strong, and Kelly is apparently doing better. I will be looking forward to having Hoot back, too, it sure seems different when he's not around, doesn't it? I think I'll go fold some of that laundry now, make some beds, and then when I'm pooped again I may get out a couple of seed catalogs...it's about that time!

Christine-sometimes I substitute teach. Do I get calls when I feel well? But get a virus, or fall down the stairs then the phone rings!

I'm glad your up a little anyways-I noticed you havn't been posting. I'm a little concerned about Hoot as well.

Hoot is on a vacation in Texas, I think he will be back in a few days. Glad you are feeling better Christine, it is awful to be sick!
