EOS Elan 7e underwater housings / physical shape

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Canon EOS FAQ forum : One Thread

I'm looking for an underwater housing for an EOS Elan 7e (aka EOS 30 in Europe I think). I'm after a solid housing rather than a poly-bag solution like the Ewa-marine ones.

Ikelite don't seem to have anything listed for an EOS Elan 7e, so I was wondering if anyone knows:

a) of any UW housing manufacturers (not poly bags) that do make a model for the EOS Elan 7(e)

or

b) if the EOS Elan 7(e) has a physical case which is the same shape and size, with similar control placements, as any of the other EOS models - ie I'm trying to work out if any of the other Ikelite EOS housings would be suitable.

Thanks, Paul.

Did you try asking Ikelite directly? ikelite@ikelite.com
