Now the hype's died down, anyone use iPhoto from Apple yet?

I'm beginning to use it as an electronic "slide sorter" for my TIFF and JPEG files, and a quick means to get an album or web gallery put together. It has a lot of potential but is still a v1.0 product; I expect to see more capability as time goes on.

I dragged over many scans in Photoshop v5.5 format ranging in size from 1 to 50 MB each, and iPhoto took them in without problem. I'm running OS 10.1.2 on a G4/733.

However, once I began sorting them into a 'book' format, iPhoto continually crashed on me. At that point, I had about 60 images totalling around 650 MB per 'album'. Maybe I'll try again tonight after a fresh boot and see how it goes.
