We're gonna have to get a light above the stove and one under the cabinets. Any suggestions, anything besides florescents? Anything creative? Thanks

You know those little lights that they use in movie theatres so you don't fall down getting to your seat. They are little and in a plastic tube? Someone tried to sell me those for under my cabinets. I do like flourescent though. Unfortunately the dadblasted battens (?) go bad on some of them. I saw some Mighty pretty flourescents at Lowes that I haven't seen anywhere else that don't look like flourescent overheads. Perhaps you should look at them too.

Nothing creative here. I always put flourescents in my kitchen and just flood it with light. Light colors and semi-gloss paint help, too.
