travel sites

Does anyone have a good travel site. My husband and I are going to northern California or southern Oregon coast next month. We like to stay in one place for seven days or so and take long road trips during the day, We like rural areas thats where we are most comfortable. I am looking for a site that really focuses on an area. Also looking for a neat cabin to stay in either on the coast or inland. I know this is a lot but maybe someone out there is familar with the area. Thank Ronda

Roda---I always get out a map & look at the small towns in the areas we are headed & then I get on the net & see if they have a chamber of commerce of Town web page--several do--then I check out that site-- many list the Bed & Breakfasts or motels or cabins that are rented in that area----

once a web page had a coffee shop listed---so I called the coffee- shop in that town---she told me everything my heart desired & we ate in that coffee shop while we were there & learned of many local places to visit----meet the locals & talked farming & crops & livestock with them-- Hope that helps!!!
