Spinning wheel for sale

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I want to give the Countryside family first dibs...I have a double treadle Majacraft spinning wheel for sale. This comes from New Zealand. Has 3 bobbins. I need to sell because it is a tad too short for my long legs. I am 5'9" if you are shorter, it'll be just right for you. E-mail me if you are interested, I am letting it go for $250.00, it sells for $580.00. I have had it 4 years.

Hi Sandie, Could you please post more information here on the spinning wheel. I tried to e-mail you at the address above, but got an undeliverable response. Double checked the address and tried again, still undeliverable. I'd like to know what model Majacraft spinning wheel it is. I'm looking at the Woodland Woolworks Spinners & Weavers Catalog and they show the Suzie, the Rose, The Saxonie and the Millie. How much would shipping be and would you include this in the price? I'm a weaver, never done any spinning, but we have icelandic/corriedale sheep and I'd like to learn to spin their wool. Some members of my weaving guild are spinners and have offered to teach me if/when I get a wheel. Thanks.

Hi Rose Marie, I got your e-mail just fine, don't know why they bounced it back to you, I responded off line to you. I wish I could figure out how to get a picture in here....

Hi Sandie,

We have been trying to reach you by e-mail too with no luck. What model is the wheel? We are interested in buying. Please e-mail us.

Thanks, Doug & Jo

My service provider has been experiencing problems, but the e-mails are coming through despite any bounce back messages you are getting. I have two already interested. Thank you everyone.
