Making a B & W enlargergreenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo: URL Review : One Thread |
Hello there, I wonder if anyone can help me with this. Years ago I remember my late grandfather had made an enlarger using an old bellows type camera. I have an old manual SLR which is now surplus to requirements. Could I use this to do same ? If so, how ? Does anyone have any easy plans to build your own. I've just invested heavily in new SLR kit and cannot afford to buy one for a while. Any help gratefully received.Regards,
Bryan Chadwick

I've heard of people making an enlarger out of tin cans, etc but with so much good used stuff out there at low prices, what's the point ??!!I have 3 enlargers I'd like to sell. Do you live in upstate New York?

I don't have an answer for you, as I have also been thinking of ways to make an enlarger. My thought is this... what about projecting the negative through a slide projector? Wouldn't this work as an enlarger? Any suggestions?
