Free electric flour mill--needs new motor

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I have a Lee Household Flour Mill, made by the Lee Engineering Company, that I'll give away to whoever wants to pay the shipping. I bought it from some people who owned a health food store, and they ground all their flour in it. The lady told me it needs a new armature, and she thought it would cost about $80.00 for a new one from the company. I have all the papers on it including the address to the Lee Engineering Co., from which you can order parts. I never contacted them because I found a grain mill attachment to my Kitchenaid for $17.00! This thing weighs at a guess nearly 20 pounds and my zipcode is 75494, so you can calculate the approximate cost before you decide. It has stone grinders in it. I took a digital picture and will put it online within the hour and post the URL here. Any questions, post them here or email me privately and I will try to answer:)

Please please let me have it. I promise I'll give it a good home. I have a FedEx account and can arrange to have it picked up.

So please let me take it off your hands.

Thanks Michele

Michele, I'm just waiting for a friend to call me back; she's gonna find out if her husband wants to tinker with it--if not, it's yours!! I'm spring cleaning in a big way and want it out of my house!

My friends husband wants to take it home and look at it, so it'll be a day or two before I know. Michele, I'll email you when I do know.
