I have received a Canon Rebel 2000 as a gift.I noticed that my batteries are going flat very quickly, even when turned off. What would be causing this. I am going through lots of batteries! Help!

Is it just the set that came with the camera that went dead? If so, then they might have been old to start with (I've had that happen with other cameras). If not, you might want to send it in for repair. Good luck.

If this has happened with more than one set of batteries, take it back & exchange it. There is definitely something wrong.
