FRiday stumper : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

I am developing this annoying habit of wakeing up at about two, staying up for a couple hours and then crashing until 9 or 10. My congestive heart failure medicines put me down early; my diabeties medications (type 2) wakes mw with a need to put something in my mouth, dead or alive, moving or still, it does not matter, cat food or cup cakes, what ever I can get my hands on, thats how strong these urges are. Anyhow, I am up, here is a question:

What bovine record holder was above 2 tons?

This species came to America in the 1970's from Europe, the males hind quarters are higher than most men. I have a picture of it for you when this stumper is solved.~

Mitch, thanks for the hint. Before I became a family and consumer science teacher I used to teach vocational agriculture. The Maine- Anjou breed comes to mind, does that one fit your bill. Polly

This critter came from the wine country of Italy and is simularly named. The cows can be up to 2500 pounds, bulls up to 3500 average, one bull went over 4000, you think you got a diet problem?
