Last April I was downsized from a large media organization with an office in Battle Creek. I was hired less than a year prior to the layoff date. Now that I have director level experience, I am finding it very difficult to land an interview. My question is how do I handle downgrading my position with prospective employers in the cover letter. I have already addressed resume issues of technical vs. executive. HELP! I'm still not working!
