Contax T3 focusing system

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Camera Equipment : One Thread

I would like to buy the Contax T3, what's the best focusing setting on this camera if I am taking pictures of little babies ? As babies tend to move around and unable to stay still, and it is hard to get sharp focus.

Regards Donald.

Either way with auto focus or manual focus with a larger aperture e.g. f5.6 if possible for more depth of field.

Manual focus is good for a baby that doesn't crawl, auto focus for those that do. The difficulty is a 35mm lens isn't that suitable for small babies as it is difficult to fill the frame with their small bodies, and getting closer in means that depth of field is incredibly shallow.
